Are you excited by the performance possibilities for your poetry? Can you imagine taking your café reading to a new level of connection with your audience? Join spoken word artist John Leppard and explore techniques that will enhance your poetic voice, adding depth and variety to your words and delivery. The emphasis will be on exploring your personal performance potential in a safe and supportive atmosphere. The workshop could be a wonderful lead-in to our Sunday afternoon of Poetry Festival Café Readings, but is open to all interested poets!

The workshop will take place in the Mercury’s intimate black box theatre – a great space to learn more about occupying the stage.
