Volunteering at the Edmonton Poetry Festival is a rewarding experience that allows you to be part of a vibrant and inclusive community.

Help us bring the richness of poetry to people of all ages and backgrounds.

The EPFS greatly appreciates volunteers and their contributions to the Festival. And volunteers matter to the Festival audiences.

Without you, we wouldn’t have a festival or year-round events that connect poetry with the broader community. Join us in promoting the power of poetry to transform, create, and entertain.

Volunteering with us offers opportunities for personal growth and learning. Gain valuable experience and make lasting connections with fellow poetry enthusiasts.

In April each year, our volunteer roles are usually:

• Face(s) of the Fest: The hub for Festival representation during our events!
  
• The go-to for all things EPF at events and workshops: checking in patrons at the door/will call, taking donations, answering questions, and sharing the love of poetry and storytelling with our community.
