Trisia Eddy

Born and raised in Edmonton, Trisia Eddy has been an active member of the local literary and arts culture for many years. She founded Red Nettle Press in 2007 as a way of supporting Alberta’s unique writing landscape, focusing on handmade art and design.

Along with an array of projects for Red Nettle Press, she is currently immersed in a series of artists’ books inspired by recent visits to Natural History museums throughout North America and Europe. Her work has made its way into a variety of literary journals and collaborations, and her latest chapbook, Edith & Aurelia: A Romantic Tragedy in Five Acts, was published in 2011 by Chicago’s Dancing Girl Press.
