Thea Bowering writes prose that wants to be poetry. Her experimental fiction deals with the figure of the Female Flâneur: a solitary, marginalized walker, and observer of urban life. Thea has worked in Edmonton as a bartender, DJ, radio host, Film Studies and Creative Writing instructor, editor, free-lance writer and reviewer, and a member of The Olive Reading Series. Her collection of stories, Love at Last Sight is coming out with NeWest Press in August 2013.
