Ruthvik Chekka (b. 2011) is a free-verse poet from India, currently residing in Canada. His work has been featured in the 2025 Edmonton Poetry Festival’s THE TWENTY project. His poems, presented through original stories, intertwine with the most pressing, yet largely overlooked defects of the human mind and nature. His life of travel has allowed the truth, often harsh, to be liberated by his poems. To him, paper is a bonfire for a tale to be told around.
