Jonathan has lived in Canada, the United States, Britain and France, where he has taught or held visiting appointments at Toronto, Alberta, Harvard, Princeton, Cambridge, Durham, the Sorbonne-Nouvelle and elsewhere. His poems have appeared in literary journals like Harvard Review, Grain, New Delta Review, Quarry and Mattoid.
