Hello friends and lovers of PoFest! We know. Take a look outside. And then have another glass of wine. We should be enjoying the graces of spring right now. There should be a lightness in your step; a lilt in your kilt. Instead we’re entering our sixth punishing month of winter.
Why do we live here again?
No matter. The Edmonton Poetry Festival pushes on through rain or shine, snow or sun, mud or dirt. And in case ya didn’t know, the festival begins on Sunday April 22, 2018. That’s a mere 3-1/2 weeks away. Maybe it’ll be above zero by then?
Listen, we’ve baked up a cool little thing for you. Just like all the cool kids these days, we’ve created a podcast, and you should click here to check it out. Our first episode features the formidable Sharon McCartney interviewed by Edmonton lit scene maven and PoFest organizer extraordinaire, Claire Kelly. It’s a great listen!
We’ve got three more episodes in store and they’ll be available each week until our 2018 festival begins on Sunday April 22. You can even subscribe in iTunes.
See you in April, peeps!
